Complete custom websites start at $1,000 + applicable tax. That is the whole first-year foundation—not the beginning of a trail of required add-ons.
The base website
One useful, finished place for your business to live.
The $1,000 minimum covers a complete standard website, ordinarily three to five pages. It still applies when the right answer is a polished one- or two-page site; the value is in finishing the whole job properly, not filling space.
It includes planning, copy drafting and refinement, a business-specific design, mobile and desktop presentation, search and accessibility foundations, deployment, and launch.
Starting price
$1,000 + applicable tax
Standard additional pages: $200 + applicable tax each.
Complex forms, calculators, ordering, scheduling, and integrations are systems. We define and price those separately before building them.
Included
The pieces a proper website needs.
Words and structure
We draft or refine the ordinary site copy, organize it, and make each page earn its place.
A visual foundation
Palette, typography, image direction, a clean business-name treatment, and a useful favicon are included. A custom logo symbol is not.
Owner control
An owner admin system is included for the information you genuinely need to change. Make updates yourself anytime, or ask Paper Monkey to handle them for a fixed price approved before work begins.
First-year operation
Hosting, deployment, basic technical upkeep, and an ordinary managed domain are included for the first year when you want Paper Monkey to operate the site.
Ownership
Your business stays yours.
You retain your domain, data, final business-specific copy and graphics, and an exportable copy of the public site if you leave. Paper Monkey retains the reusable framework, shared admin, and backend machinery that keep good infrastructure affordable. We disclose important dependencies before they become your problem.

Talk through the business
We learn what customers need, what the owner needs, and what the website actually has to do.
Agree on scope and schedule
We put the work, price, and realistic schedule in writing before payment. Most projects are targeted within six weeks; many finish sooner.
Build and review
A 50% deposit starts the project. Two organized revision rounds are included; Paper Monkey corrections do not consume a round. A genuinely new direction or expanded scope is priced separately.
Approve and launch
The remaining 50% is due after final approval and before launch. We verify the live site and make sure the operating arrangement is clear.
Practical details
Domains, renewals, and existing websites.
- Annual operation
- $300 + applicable tax per year, beginning in year two only when Paper Monkey operates the site. It covers managed hosting, ordinary domain renewal, deployment, security and basic technical upkeep, and admin access.
- Renewal
- We send an invoice about 30 days ahead. There is no automatic charge and no long contract. If you decline, we arrange a clean handoff.
- Your existing domain
- Keep paying your registrar. Follow the exact DNS steps we provide, or grant temporary access; Paper Monkey verifies the result.
- Domain only
- $25 + applicable tax per year for an ordinary domain. Premium, aftermarket, and unusually priced domains are separate.
- An existing site
- We may repair it in place for a one-time fixed quote, move it substantially unchanged for a migration quote plus annual operation, or rebuild it cleanly at standard website pricing when it fits normal scope. We inspect before recommending which answer makes sense.
