Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed September 2, 2026

Paper Monkey Small Business Systems (“Paper Monkey,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to providing access to papermonkeysystems.com (the “Site”) for people with disabilities and for people using different devices, input methods, browsers, settings, and assistive technologies.

This Accessibility Statement identifies the Site’s current accessibility target, measures used in its design and maintenance, compatibility considerations and external dependencies, and the process for requesting assistance or reporting a barrier.

1. Scope

This Statement applies to the public pages and features Paper Monkey controls at papermonkeysystems.com. It does not certify or govern a client-operated website or system, an external website, an email provider, browser software, an operating system, an assistive technology, or another third-party service.

Accessibility obligations for a client project are determined by the client’s legal responsibilities and the controlling project agreement. This Statement does not expand the scope, acceptance criteria, support obligations, or warranty for client work.

2. Accessibility standard and status

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at Level AA (“WCAG 2.2 AA”) is the Site’s design and maintenance target. WCAG addresses whether web content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. It does not address every need of every person or every combination of content, browser, device, setting, and assistive technology.

The Site has not been represented as independently certified or formally audited for complete conformance with every WCAG 2.2 AA success criterion. Conformance is a technical determination about a defined version of content, not a permanent status. A temporary defect or an external dependency may affect access even when accessibility has been considered in the design.

3. Measures used on this Site

The Site uses semantic page regions; meaningful page titles; a logical heading order; descriptive links and buttons; labeled fields; visible keyboard focus; keyboard-operable controls; an escape-key path from the navigation menu; and focus management intended to keep focus within an open menu and return it to the control that opened the menu.

The layout is designed to adapt across mobile and desktop widths, support browser zoom and text reflow, provide readable contrast in light and dark appearances, and respect reduced-motion preferences. Information needed to understand or use the Site is not intentionally conveyed by color, imagery, animation, hover, or pointer input alone. Decorative images are identified so assistive technology can ignore them, while meaningful images are intended to have text alternatives.

4. Evaluation and maintenance

Accessibility is considered when Paper Monkey changes Site structure, navigation, content, visual design, or interactive behavior. Evaluation may include source review, keyboard use, browser zoom and reflow checks, contrast review, automated testing, and manual examination of representative pages and controls. Automated testing alone cannot establish accessibility for every user.

When Paper Monkey confirms a barrier within its control, the response may include correcting the affected content or code, providing an accessible alternative, clarifying instructions, changing a third-party dependency where reasonably practicable, or documenting a limitation while a durable correction is prepared.

5. Intended compatibility

The Site is intended to work with current versions of major browsers and operating systems and with commonly used keyboard, zoom, screen-reader, voice-input, and other assistive-technology configurations. Older or unsupported software, browser extensions, custom style sheets, unusual combinations of technology, disabled browser features, network interruption, or settings outside Paper Monkey’s control may affect operation.

No statement of intended compatibility guarantees identical presentation or behavior across every configuration. Equivalent access to information or a function may be provided through a reasonable alternative when the primary digital method does not work for a particular person.

6. Contact form and communication choices

The contact form provides labeled fields, a clear response-method choice, conditional contact fields, associated validation, and status messages intended to be announced by assistive technology. If the form does not operate accessibly, the same request may be made through the published telephone number by call or text, sent directly to the published email address, or provided through another reasonable method arranged with Paper Monkey.

An alternative method does not require a person to use a feature that creates the same barrier. Paper Monkey will consider the requested format, the nature of the information or service, available communication methods, and any security or confidentiality concern in identifying a reasonable alternative.

7. Third-party content and services

The Site may link to or depend on external websites, email services, hosting infrastructure, browsers, or other technology that Paper Monkey does not control. Paper Monkey cannot certify or guarantee the accessibility of an external service. A link does not adopt the external operator’s accessibility practices or content.

If an external dependency creates a barrier in a function presented as part of this Site, notify Paper Monkey so it can evaluate whether an alternative, correction, replacement, or other response is reasonably available within Paper Monkey’s control.

8. Client websites and systems

A website or system Paper Monkey builds for a client is operated for that client and is governed by the client’s notices, practices, legal responsibilities, content decisions, and controlling project agreement. This Statement makes no representation about a client property. Responsibility for client content, integrations, later edits, operating choices, and third-party services is determined by applicable law and the controlling project agreement.

9. Request assistance or report a barrier

If a part of the Site prevents access to information, navigation, or contact, email hello@papermonkeysystems.com with “Accessibility Request” in the subject line. If possible, identify the page address, the task attempted, the barrier encountered, and the format or method that would provide access. Browser or device information is optional and should be included only if you choose and believe it will help identify the issue.

Do not include a disability, diagnosis, medical history, proof of disability, or other health information. Paper Monkey does not require that information to investigate a barrier or arrange an alternative. Do not attach confidential client material, credentials, payment information, or other sensitive records to an accessibility report.

10. Response and alternative access

Paper Monkey will review a barrier report and respond within a reasonable period based on the nature of the issue, the information available, the urgency of the requested access, and the work required to investigate or provide an alternative. A response may request limited technical details, but disclosure of medical information is not required.

When reasonably possible, Paper Monkey will provide the requested information or function through an accessible alternative while a confirmed barrier within its control is evaluated or corrected. The alternative may differ in format or method but should provide substantially equivalent access to the relevant information or service.

The Site publishes call, text, email, and form contact options. If those methods are inaccessible, another person may contact Paper Monkey on your behalf without explaining the reason, and Paper Monkey will work with you to continue through a reasonable accessible method.

11. Review of an unresolved request

If the initial response does not provide effective access, reply to the same communication and request an accessibility review. Identify what remains inaccessible or why the proposed alternative does not provide substantially equivalent access. Paper Monkey will reconsider the issue and any other reasonable method then available. Reporting a barrier or requesting review will not be used as a basis to deny an otherwise available service.

12. No certification or waiver of rights

This Statement describes a target, current measures, and a response process. It is not a certification, warranty of uninterrupted access, or representation that every WCAG criterion has been formally audited. Nothing in this Statement limits a right or obligation that applicable law does not permit to be limited, excuses discrimination prohibited by law, or prevents a person from using an available legal remedy.

13. Updates and contact

Paper Monkey may update this Statement when the Site, relevant standards, technology, or accessibility practices change. The review date at the top identifies the current version. An update does not amend a controlling project agreement.

Accessibility questions, requests for an alternative format, and barrier reports may be sent to Paper Monkey Small Business Systems at hello@papermonkeysystems.com.
